Thank you for choosing to support the Boys & Girls Club of the South Coast Area by volunteering! There are many ways to make a difference in the lives of the children served by our Club.

The following list shows examples of available volunteer opportunities. We are also able to customize volunteer opportunities to suit your availability, interests, and skills.

Individual Opportunities

• General Volunteers to help out with daily activities and projects

•  Homework tutor

•  Mentor a child

•  Support special programs, such as College Bound, Drama Matters, reading and sports

•  Special Events

Requirements

•  15 years of age or older

•  Complete volunteer application

•  Background check (18+)

•  Complete volunteer training orientation

Group Opportunities

•  Craft project preparation

•  Club beautification

•  Special events

•  Summer Wednesday barbecue lunches

•  Host a career day, resume workshop, etc.

Requirements

• All participants must sign a waiver/commitment, wear a name badge, and follow any other requirements deemed necessary for the chosen activity.
