MARK SCHMITT COLLEGE BOUND & WORKFORCE READINESS PROGRAM

DSC02294.jpg

The Mark Schmitt College Bound & Workforce Readiness Program has been helping local high school students achieve their college dreams for the past 5 years. In 2020, our largest graduating class of 11 seniors received $1.2 million in financial aid to the school of their choice over four years. Most of them are the first in their families to attend college.

Our program was designed to provide comprehensive, individualized support to high school students with dreams of attending college. Weekly workshops on subjects such as financial aid, course selection, the application process, and choosing a major and school, college visits, and career exploration opportunities are paired with ongoing tutoring, SAT/ACT prep and application support to help students with every facet of getting into college, choosing the right one, and planning to pay for the education.
