At the Boys & Girls Club of the South Coast Area, any gift—no matter how big or small—is immensely appreciated. This is the idea behind our It Just Takes One Campaign: It just takes One caring adult, One Boys & Girls Club, and One gift to forever impact the life of a child.
This campaign ensures that the doors of our Club remain open and accessible to all children in our community and that our Club is able to continue providing:
- A Safe Place for those who may be left alone after school or on the streets with no guidance. Our Club is a safe place to play and a place safe enough where kids can be themselves.
- Life-Enhancing Programs that can open young minds. The Boys & Girls Club of the South Coast Area exposes youth to new ideas and skills that prepare them for life. We teach the importance of character in all of our programs.

A Relationship with Caring, Trained Adults. The availability of dependable, caring adults who are responsive to a child’s daily realities is critical to developing meaningful, often lifelong relationships that enable children to reach their full potential.
