The Boys & Girls Club of the South Coast Area's year-round fine arts program encourages artistic expression through classes, special events and fine art exhibits. The program culminates in the National Fine Arts Exhibit, which premieres at Boys & Girls Clubs of America's National Conference, then tours the United States for one year.
Displaying artwork in four age divisions and 10 media forms, the National Fine Arts Exhibit showcases the best of fine arts programs. Our Club provides our members with the opportunity to see their artwork professionally displayed before their family, peers and community.
Our members created works of art that are on display on site. One piece of art per age class and category was selected from our local exhibit to be displayed and placed in competition with other Clubs' art entries at the regional level. Selected artwork from each regional exhibit is then considered for inclusion in the National Fine Arts Exhibit, showcased at Boys & Girls Clubs of America's National Conference.
Our National Fine Arts Exhibit Program provides members with artistic education while promoting the importance of creativity in every aspect of life, and encourages skill development and cultural enrichment.
